Namo (taking refuge in) Grandmaster Trieu Phuoc

(Also known as) Buddha Dipankara – with immeasurable blessings

For a long time He has taught you, my child

And Compassionately teaching you everything

The Five Essential Dharanis is a ‘precious jewel’

He has given you for protection

Now you receive even more of His blessings

By diligently recite the patriarch's noble name day and night

Reciting it at all times and places

Will earn you the protection of Deities, guardians of the Law

That is the favor, the blessing bestowed by Heaven

That is the blessing from the Masters of Secret Lineage (School)

Now I grant you the right to recite

Grandmaster’s title on your cultivation path

When walking, standing, lying, always

Devotedly recite the names of Grandmaster and Venerable

Namo revered Grandmaster, Buddha Trieu Phuoc

Namo revered Master, Buddha Trieu Nghiem

From now on you will be peacefully happy

Because you already have the miraculous illumination

I sincerely prostrate for Grandmaster’s protection

I sincerely bow down for Venerable Master’s safeguard

Please open my mind

To let me see life’s real and unreal

So that I could be determined to repair myself (lead a religious life) in order to

Remove my karmic debt and have everlasting peaceful joy

My life is like a drifting boat

That has found its dock and be allowed to return

All thanks to the miraculous dharma

The way of Sacred Lineage bestowed by Heaven
