Self-improvement - Cultivating the mind and perfecting character

  1. A mature and well-rounded individual must take responsibility for their thoughts and actions, consciously building a life of happiness and seeking inner peace.

  2. Recognize your own worth instead of relying on others’ potentially flawed judgments. Those who understand their value are not dependent on others' approval and remain unaffected by praise or criticism.

  3. Respect and value yourself, for everyone is a child of the Creator. Each person lives their own life, learns their unique lessons, and ultimately faces the end.

  4. One should live in a way that earns the compassion of God and the Divine, not driven by the praise or criticism of others.

  5. Everyone makes mistakes. Accept and correct your mistakes. Without change, mistakes can be harmful; but by learning from them, you gain valuable experience and enhance your self-worth.

  6. Don't worry about the past, as it's gone, or the future, as it's uncertain. Focus on the present and use your time to learn and improve yourself.

  7. Don't blindly follow society's standards of success and let them make you feel inferior. Success means different things to different people, as long as your heart is at peace and you live true to yourself and your principles.

  8. Self-improvement is not easy and cannot be achieved in a day. Just a small improvement each day will lead to significant change over time. Overexerting and rushing will yield no results and only lead to giving up.

  9. If we ignore bad habits thinking they're insignificant, they will grow into bigger problems over time. To improve oneself, it's important to make daily progress and not let bad habits become hard to break.

  10. Success or failure, happiness or suffering, all depend on the path we choose. Even if life is good now, spending more than you earn leads to constant financial worry. On the other hand, saving a little each month, even with limited income, leads to financial freedom—slow but steady.
