Life is a passing breeze, a drifting cloud
Hết tan lại tụ, hết vui lại buồn
Breaking apart then reuniting, for with happiness always come sorrow
Nên đừng bám chấp con ơi
So don't cling on to anything, my dear daughter
Hãy theo ánh sáng từ bi của Người
And follow His compassionate light
Thôi con nhé, bình an tu học
So be it, be peaceful while studying the Dharma
Giữ tâm bình, sẽ được nhẹ nhàng
Life will be easier when the mind is at peace
Ham chi vật chất thế gian
Why desire for worldly material
Sao bằng có Đạo sáng soi cuộc đời
which can't compare to having the life guiding Dharma
Mấy lời ta gửi con ơi
My dear daughter these are my words to you
Đạo là quý nhất, đời là phù du
The Dharma is most precious, life is ephemeral
Ráng tu cho trọn kiếp người
Try to cultivate til the end of a human's lifetime.
Tìm cầu Chân lý, mây mù sẽ tan.
Upon finding the Truth, dark clouds will disappear.
Chúc con tâm luôn vững vàng
I wish your mind be always steadfast
Chúc con mãi mãi an nhàn thảnh thơi
I wish you always be free and at ease
Chúc cho Đạo pháp trường tồn
May the Dharma be everlasting
Vô Tận Đăng mãi sáng soi đêm ngày
The Eternal Lamp forever shining day and night
Xua tan những áng mây mù
Dispelling the gloomy clouds
Đạo Trời chiếu rọi, đời đời an vui.
The Way of Heaven brightly shine giving peace and joy for generations.
